Geri is a current serving whole time Professional Firefighter for 28 years. She is currently based at Wakefield Fire Station. An ex-Rugby League player herself she is an avid sports fan. Geri came to live In Hemsworth when she was 15yrs old and has never wanted again to move out of Yorkshire. She enjoys in her spare time History, Walking the dogs, Golf, watching rugby, gym politics, reading and current affairs.

She likes supporting local sports teams that encourage fitness, promotes rugby league, family clubs, and great local community traditions.

Geri owns and runs Chris’s Castles Bouncy Castle Hire a company she bought from her colleague Chris 2 years ago.

Inflatable Ape was created by Geri. After seeing the success of the bouncy castles and the smiles on the kids’ faces she decided after listening to her customers she needed to bring the traditional “castles in the garden” indoors through the winter with not one but boatloads of inflatables for the kids (and Adults) to experience all under one roof. Not only do the kids get to play on loads of Inflatables BUT an added bonus of a LIVE SHOW with a children’s entertainer and sometimes special guests.”
