2017 AMBASSADOR PROGRAMME
8TH DECEMBER, 2016
On Wednesday 16th November the Wakefield Trinity Community Department hosted a presentation for the 2017 Ambassador Club programme here at Belle Vue Stadium.

The room was full of personnel from the invited community clubs, where a comprehensive presentation for the 2017 programme was delivered by Trinity’s Head of Community James Stephenson.

Chairman Michael Carter along with first team players and community ambassadors Tom Johnstone and Danny Kirmond were all in attendance to help promote and support the event and also answer any questions from our guests.

With the great successes that the 2016 pilot programme achieved we hoped that we would be able to encourage maybe two or three additional clubs to join the revamped 2017 programme.

We are delighted to announce that 15 attending clubs have accepted our offer and will now form part of the new programme throughout 2017.

Head of Community, James Stephenson commented, “I am really pleased that the community clubs have accepted our offer to join the 2017 programme and I’m really looking forward to working closely with each club and growing a solid relationship with them all.

“Our ethos is open and honest and I believe during the night that was a big factor in the all the clubs accepting. The conversations I’ve had with them all since the event has been really positive and exciting in a sense that we all seem to share the same values and want the same outcomes. 2017 is going to be a special year for everyone concerned in the programme and although there will be challenges at times, I’m certain come the end of 2017 we will have some very, very happy community clubs!”

Chairman, Michael Carter said, “We would like to welcome all new and existing clubs into the now award winning programme, and I look forward to seeing you all down here at Belle Vue very soon. In the meantime have a great Christmas and happy New Year”.

Throughout 2017 clubs that are affiliated through the programme will see a host of exclusive benefits including; match-day festivals, player escorts, Coaching Master classes with Chris Chester and John Kear, Wakefield Trinity first team players as associated community club ambassadors; complimentary tickets to Wakefield Trinity super league fixtures along with club take over days and much, much more ….
